ADAM'S EDEN WARDROBE

This was a case of ‘now you see it, now you don’t’.  Of course, the client could have simply wallpapered the doors, but the facings would have been a flat colour.  So, I copied the design over the wriggly facings and down the doors to make them disappear.

The doors came back to the studio to be prepped as they had many coats of old paint and paper on them.  I tested colours and finishes with a sample of the wallpaper, then returned to site to sketch the Adam’s Eden design onto the facings and the re-hung doors, finally painting it all in to match the paper.
