CHICHESTER WASHSTAND
This client loved her Lewis & Wood Adam’s Eden wallpaper so much that she commissioned a Neptune Chichester washstand in warm tones to work with her existing walls, tiles and curtains in her ensuite bathroom.
The washstand arrived painted white and in 3 pieces. I assembled it without screwing it together to get the scales right. It was then sponged in warm tones to achieve a parchment effect that worked with her marble top. The elements were taken from Adam’s Eden wallpaper and colours adapted to work in her bathroom. A final coat of matt varnish and it was ready for delivery and installation.
