STAG BEDROOM SET
The Stag brand was founded in 1906 in Nottinghamshire producing high quality wood furniture. The Minstrel range was made during the ‘Reid Era 1950’s-60’s with a shiny dark mahogany finish. Whilst the original finish is perhaps no longer in vogue the quality of the workmanship makes it worth hanging on to.
The varnish takes some work to strip back, and it takes a few coats of primer to stop the wood stain soaking through. Finished in Farrow & Ball Mizzle with new ring pulls on the drawers; to match the originals, this set should give another generation an elegant place to keep their belongings.
